Casebox was developed jointly by HURIDOCS and KETSE.com in 2011. It started as a project to provide a sophisticated case management solution to one NGO, and was subsequently expanded to become a flexible case management system for human rights organisations.
Development was made possible thanks to the support of the Open Society Foundations and Oak Foundation.
HURIDOCS (Human Rights Information and Documentation Services) is an NGO that helps human rights groups mobilise information to promote justice and accountability. Since 1982, we have developed methodologies and tools that make it easier not only to manage collections of evidence, law and research, but also to analyze them for insights.
KETSE is a software company that has closely collaborated with HURIDOCS on a number of high-profile projects, including the website of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, the African Human Rights Case Law Analyser, and Opendata Georgia.
